1. Overview

Switch Camps ("we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and how you stay in control of it.

2. Data we collect

When you create an account we collect your name and email address. When you request a place at a camp we also collect the phone number you enter at checkout. Optionally, you may add a profile photo, a hometown, your stance and your board. The app records the camps you request and the messages you post in camp chat.

3. What we do not collect

Switch Camps takes no payment inside the app, so we never collect or store card numbers or bank details. We run no advertising or analytics trackers, and we do not track you across other companies’ apps or websites.

4. How we use it

Your data is used to hold your place at a camp, to let the camp team and coaches identify you on arrival, to show your name and photo beside your messages in camp chat, and to keep your rider profile and progress.

5. Data sharing

We share your booking details with the operator and coaches of the camp you request, so they can confirm your place. Other riders in a camp chat can see the name and photo on your profile. We do not sell your data to anyone.

6. Data storage

Your data is stored on Google Firebase infrastructure, encrypted in transit and at rest. We keep it for as long as your account exists.

7. Deleting your account

You can delete your account at any time, from inside the app: open Profile, tap Settings, then tap DELETE ACCOUNT at the bottom of the screen and confirm. This is permanent. It erases your profile, rider progress, bookings, camp chat messages and profile photo, and releases any place you were holding back to the camp. You do not need to contact us and there is nothing to wait for.

8. Your other rights

You can view and change the details on your profile at any time from the Profile screen, and change your password from Settings. To request a copy of your data, email privacy@switchcamps.com.

9. Children

Riders under 16 need a parent or guardian to create the account and request camp places on their behalf.
